Art Blocks

Being part of the quilters guild has given me plenty of opportunities to use up mother-in-laws stash. I have also been learning lots! 

One of my biggest challenges has been the art class. This is definitely a lot of work bending and twisting my mind....thinking outside the box. This weekend I was determined to finish all the art challenges over the past few months. Each month a word is drawn and you have to come up with a mini quilt! Whaaat?! So I have researched like crazy and watched so many utube videos and picked Joette’s brain....🤪

The word is “hot”

Word is “bark”....we also did some confetti at a class! I love the little fox 😍

Word is “laugh”

There is a quilt conference in Grand Forks coming up at the end of April and we have been tasked with each person making a block for a draw. This is what I did...I just hope that I don’t end up with 80 or so of these ....groan...

Ok now onto the other UFO's....

so I did this one for my art guild word of the month “antique” done with leftover thread clippings and tulle on top.
