Cork has naturally occurring anti mildew and anti bacterial qualities as well as water resistant properties!  Cork oak trees have their bark removed by skilled labour men every 7-9 years.  The bark then grows back and is reharvested making it a truly sustainable product. “

Waterproof canvas and quilting cotton are also used on the inside of my wallets and bags. 

Canvas and cork are easy to care for  ...use non-alcohol baby wipes to clean or mild detergent like Dawn on a cloth.
